LiangDao GmbH awarded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in the industry research cluster “Artificial Intelligence for selective near-real-time recordings of scenario and manoeuvre data in testing highly automated vehicles” (short: KisSME) with 1.34 Million Euro to investigates how artificial intelligence can bundle data for automated driving.

In 2020, LiangDao Intelligence undertook the project of "R&D and Testing White-box Platform System Construction" for one of the Chinese leading intelligent and connected pilot demonstration zone. The white-box system is designed to meet the R&D integration and testing & validation needs of the autonomous driving industry. The system builds an open and safe standardised intelligent & connected vehicle software and hardware test platform, which can be used for intelligent & networked vehicle test, vehicle wire control performance test, V2X test, automatic driving function test and demonstration, which could support the R&D and testing of key components and vehicles of intelligent networked vehicles.

Testing & Validation of perception system
In August 2019, LiangDao Intelligence, Great Wall Motor(GMW), Ibeo started a strategic cooperation in L3/L4 automated driving development. Great Wall Motor chose the new generation of four-dimensional solid-state LiDAR ibeoNEXT as an important part of sensor set up for autonomous driving, LiangDao Intelligence will provide the validation services to support GWM in mass production.
This is the solid-state LiDAR mass production cooperation project, and simultaneously the world's first automotive solid-state LiDAR mass production cooperation.
